Antietam Brewery 5K Run – Team Competition and Scoring

We offer a team competition that includes awards and scoring for the Antietam Brewery 5K. And the best part…this added level of fun and camaraderie comes with no additional fees!

Description:
Spice up your individual 5K experience, at no extra cost, by also being a part of a team of 5K runners! In addition to your individual entry into the 5K, you can also create or join a team at no additional charge. Teams will consist of 3 or more individual runners in the 5K and can be any combination of genders. Each runner on the team will race as an individual and be eligible for individual awards. The top 3 finishers on a team will have their individual times added together and scored for the team competition. Team awards will be given out to top teams.

It’s time to create or join a team, recruit teammates and begin training and challenging them to get ready for race day!

Here’s how to do it through your RunSignUp.com Antietam Brewery 5K Registration:

If you have already registered for the race and now want to CREATE a team, follow these directions:

  1. Log on to RunSignup under the account you registered for the Race.
  2. Navigate to Upcoming Events > Manage Registration.
  3. Click on the menu Group/Team (located on the left or top)
  4. Click on the tab “Create New Group/Team“.
  5. Select a Group/Team type.
  6. Type in a Group/Team name.
  7. If prompted select a Group/Team Gender and Age Group.
  8. If prompted you may create an Optional Group/Team Password.
  9. Click Continue.

If you have not registered for the race yet and now want to CREATE a team, follow these instructions:

  1. Navigate to the Race Page of the race
  2. Click Sign Up to begin the registration process
  3. Enter in all participant information
  4. Select Yes under the question Would You like to join a Group/Team
  5. From the pop-up select Create New Group/Team
  6. Select Continue
  7. Select a Group/Team Type
  8. Type in a Group/Team Name
  9. If prompted select a Group/Team Gender and Age Group
  10. If prompted you may create an Optional Group/Team Password
  11. Click Continue

If you have already registered for the race and now want to JOIN a team, follow these directions:

  1. Sign In to RunSignUp
  2. Go to your Profile
  3. Navigate to Upcoming Events.
  4. Click Manage Registration next to the registration you would like to add to a team
  5. Click Group/Team on the left-hand sidebar
  6. From the pop-up select Join Existing Group/Team
  7. Either select a Group/Team from the dropdown or Search Groups/Teams
  8. Click Continue

If you have not registered for the race yet and now want to JOIN a team, follow these instructions:

  1. Navigate to the Race Page of the race
  2. Click Sign Up to begin the registration process
  3. Enter in all participant information
  4. Select your event
  5. Answer “Yes” for the question “Would you like to join a Team?“
  6. Click Continue
  7. Select the group/team you would like to join from the drop down menu
