“TRI” the Movie
The wait is finally over! The award-winning inspirational drama “TRI” the movie, filmed in part at the Luray Triathlon, is now available on Digital HD in the US and Canada!
We are so excited and honored that the film that won “Film of the Year” by the NOVA International Film Festival, and more than a dozen other awards, chose to film part of the movie at the Luray Triathlon. During the screening of the movie “TRI” in Luray, several triathletes enjoyed seeing themselves and their fellow competitors on the big screen alongside the stars, competing in the Luray Triathlon.

About The Movie
Natalie (Award-winning actress Jensen Jacobs), an ultrasound tech with a history of not finishing things, is inspired by a cancer patient to sign up for a triathlon. Natalie is introduced to the strange (and aerodynamic) world of triathletes and meets a colorful cast of characters as she trains for the Nation’s Triathlon. With the support of her new teammates, she digs deep to discover just how far she can push her mind and body.
